This is a great cycling jacket. It is a perfect fit, keeps you dry and is great at keeping the wind out. The jacket packs down small so can fit neatly in any bag for emergency use in unexpected downpours. It has also been styled really well and looks great. The addition of the magneticly stowed bum flap is also an added bonus. I would recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, lightweight and utilitarian jacket.
Loved the jacket till the pocket zip broke after 6 months minimal use. Customer service unwilling to support and fix the issue. Not up to the job in all areas. Avoid.

I still have the original quilted jacket which I have bought in 2014 and I'm using it regularly. Apart from the cuffs which have lost some elasticity it's still looking very good with almost no traces of wear and tear. I was delighted when I found out the jacket was recently added again to the Vulpine catalog, so much delighted that I actually bought two, one in charcoal and one in petrol color, taking advantage of the season sales.
The new jackets look beautiful but I have one complain: they are about an inch shorter than the original model was in the same size. Which means that when you layer up for the colder temperatures and wear, say, a merino zipped hoodie or a pullover over your base layer the bottom part of the garment will stick out from under the jacket, which is both unpractical and looks inelegant. With the local climate (north Adriatic) I was able to use the original quilted jacket in the winter with some layering (the temperature seldom drops under 8 Celsius) but with the new version I can't do that anymore. Also the jacket could really use drawstrings at the hem to make it even more practical.

This is a great waterproof / windproof jacket. Very stylish & a great fir - true to size. Only thing I'd change would be a bit of lining in the sleeves when wearing a T shirt. Otherwise great!

Whilst this feature may not suit this style of lightweight jacket, (it could be challenging to implement without affecting breathability & weight), it's definitely something we'd consider when designing future products.
