Garment Care

The Basics:

  • Washing more is better for performance fabrics than less. Dirt & bacteria kill performance
  • Wash cool
  • No conditioner or biological liquids!
  • Wash without sharp objects or velcro
  • Avoid spinning merino wool above 800rpm

Our garments are tough. But poor care slowly degrades them. Luckily, its easy if you follow the instructions printed on the inside, or ask us if you’re unsure. Basically, these things hurt Vulpine stuff: Washing hot, not washing enough, conditioner (easily reversible by rinsing thoroughly) and velcro (velcro is the enemy of wool).
