We’ve had many a beautiful bike in our shoots, and one of the stars of the show in our Autumn/Winter 2016 shoots is the stunning city bike built by Gavin Buxton of august bicycles. We spoke to Gavin & his wife Amy to find out more about the brand and the builds.
It’s a tricky dilemma, trying to shoot winter gear in August. Especially when one of the garments in question is the Beacon Jacket, a deep winter road cycling jacket for extreme weather. It’s not going to look quite right paired with thermal bib tights and a merino polo baselayer, in the lush green Surrey hills on a baking summer’s day.
What are the most beautiful bicycles? What are we into? Who should you be aware of? Shouldn’t you be looking at lustful images of bikes all day?? We can help with that.
Autumn can be a treat for the senses, as you chase the sun towards the horizon on your ride home, or surf your way through crisp layers of leaves in the park. But as the nights draw in and rain becomes more likely, you’ll also need to up your wardrobe game to stay safe (and dry) on your bike.
