A Guide to Vulpine Cycling Jackets

Posted on Categories Vulpine Features

Cycling across the seasons requires suitable kit, and with our wide range of jackets, we’ve got one to cover your back. Here’s founder Nick with the lowdown on all of our jackets.

Here’s a quick glance at our range of cycling jackets:

Harrington Rain Jacket – Stylish commute.
Original Rain Jacket – Nighttime commute.
Ultralight Quilted Thermal Jacket – Freezing or frequent stops.
Waterproof Utility Jacket – Torrential rain on or off bike.
Randa Softshell Jacket – Bad weather road shell.
Portixol Waterproof Jacket – Packable road waterproof.

I’m Nick Hussey, Creative Director, and we at Vulpine love creating cycling jackets. There’s just so much to do. So many challenges. So many problems unsolved. With no pre-conceived ideas of what we should do, we can enjoy solving.

When we design jackets, we don’t look to imitate, we always think about our frustrations and what we, as riders, would really want, if we started from scratch. Then we research, test, iterate, test, iterate and test some more.

Here is my summary of what our cycling jackets do, and what weather and situations they are best suited for:
