It’s not just bikes you’ll find at the Manchester Vulpine Cycling Fete, thanks to photographer & baking king Ian James…

It’s just TWO DAYS to go before the Vulpine Cycling Fete comes up north as part of the Bike & Triathlon Show at Manchester Central.

Celebrating the best in British cycling design and creativity, we’re getting together with some of the country’s up and coming cycling companies and artists. You can expect face painting, bunting, LOTS of lights, illustration, live DJ’ing, Rollapaluza for adults and kids, us showing off our garms... and mountains of biscuits for all at the Fete, thanks to Vulpine’s photographer & genius chef friend Ian James.

All images by Ian James.

When he’s not behind the camera or on his bike, Ian can be found writing on his interestingly titled (and not gory) Pie for Brains food blog, or in the kitchen indulging in his biggest passions – cooking and baking. "Chef" James has kindly baked HUNDREDS of different and delicious fancy biscuits for the Manchseter Fete...

His selection is a European biscuit bounty! Ian has baked Tuscan almond cantuccini, hazlenut & chocolate chip biscotti, his @CoffeeSaturday competition winning pistachio, cranberry & orange blossom biscotti and his own take on speculoos, a popular biscuit in Holland, Belgium and France. That’s a lot of biscuit action.

All of Ian’s tasty treats will be available at the Vulpine stall across the weekend. We’ll try our best to make sure they’re not all eaten by Saturday afternoon. Really, we’ll try.

Thank you Ian for your MASSIVE generosity in making all of these. This man really should be running his own kitchen.
